Recipes like my Cheesy Chicken Jalapeño Popper Dip are ideal no matter the time of year or what we are celebrating. Prep time is minimal and the taste is amazing.

Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, 15 or 20 oz, BOGO $5.65

- 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 1/3 cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- 3 jalapeños, finely diced
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1 ½ cups Colby Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 ½ cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Mexican crumbling cheese or feta cheese
- Chopped green onion, for garnish
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- In a large bowl, add 2/3 of the bacon, mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, jalapeños, chicken, 1 1/4 cups of the Colby Jack and 1 1/4 cups of the Monterey Jack cheeses and mix to combine.
- Spread the mixture into a 1.5-quart baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese and chopped bacon over top and bake for 20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly.
- Top with the Mexican crumbing cheese (or feta) and broil for 3 – 5 minutes, until the top is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with green onion and serve with bread, chips or crackers.
