Frequently Asked Questions

Saving at Publix can be easy and rewarding once you learn the ropes. Check below for some tips to make the most of your shopping trip.

WHERE DO I FIND COUPONS?

Coupons are everywhere!

Please visit the Coupon Database to search for available coupons. You can also navigate to the Publix Digital Coupon page where you can load offers and save instantly at checkout. I share as many offers as I can find to help you get the most bang for your buck. For help on understanding the different types of coupons, visit  the COUPONS BASICS page.

WHY DON'T I HAVE THE COUPONS YOU HAVE LISTED?

Please be aware that coupons and offers may be regional or user specific. You may find that the coupon/offer you receive is higher or lower than what is listed. Also, many coupons/offers may have limited supplies and may only be available while supplies last.

WHY DO YOU SHOW TWO SETS OF DATES ON THE AD PREVIEW?

Publix weekly ads change on either Wednesdays or Thursdays depending on where you are located. If you are unsure of your ad start date, ask at your store or check online at Publix.com.

CAN I COMBINE/STACK COUPONS AT PUBLIX?

Publix allows you to use a manufacturer’s coupon combined with a Publix coupon or with a competitor’s coupon, but not both. View the Coupon Policy at Publix.com for full details.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY TRUE BOGO/HALF PRICE BOGO?

The way that BOGO deals ring up will vary by state.

When you visit a Publix store in Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, and the northern portions of Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina, you can buy only one BOGO item, and you’ll be charged half price.

However, in other areas (including the chain’s home state: Florida), you must purchase one item at regular price in order to get the second one free. Inquire at your store if you are unsure of the BOGO policy where you shop.

WHAT IS THE PUBLIX PROMISE?

The Publix Promise states that if during checkout, the scanned price of an item (excluding alcohol and tobacco products) exceeds the shelf price or advertised price, Publix will give the customer one of that item free. They will charge the lower price for the remaining items.
