We define traditions, as those things we’ve always done in previous years. They give us a sense of belonging and a way to express what is important to us. And for me, holiday traditions are some of the most important. It’s the time of year where some of my most wonderful and cherished memories come from.

But every tradition has to start somewhere, right? I am thinking now might be the perfect time to start a new tradition, at least when it comes to holiday entertaining.

Need a quick and tasty way to get started?

The answer to that question might be easier than you might think. With a loaded charcuterie board, you can encourage your holiday guests to come together and mix and match a variety of crackers and cheeses, fruits and veggies, hummus and nut butters and dips, deli meats, or whatever inspires you.

The size of your charcuterie board can be easily modified based on the number of folks that you are serving. And, the best part is that there is no cooking necessary. It’s the quick and easy way to help you bring the best parts of holiday entertaining together: family and food.

All you have to do is some slicing, arranging, and in no time flat, you’ve got a charcuterie board that’s as appealing as it is appetizing. But if you do want to get a little more elaborate, try serving my Whipped Feta Dip with Hot Honey and Pistachios alongside for your board to really entice and amaze. Just pull out your food processor or your blender and in just minutes you  end up with a dip that is sure to be the centerpiece to any holiday charcuterie board!
