Crisco Oil Is Perfect For All Of Your Holiday Cooking Needs

Fudge Brownie Cupcakes

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • 2/3 cup Crisco® Pure Canola Oil, divided
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp. salt
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line a 18 muffin cups with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, sift together the cocoa powder and baking soda. Add 1/3 cup canola oil and the coffee. Mix until well blended.
  3. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and remaining 1/3 cup canola oil.
  4. Add the flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix just until combined.
  5. Evenly portion the batter into each of the 18 muffin cups. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out almost clean. Place on a wire rack until completely cooled.
  6. Frost and decorate as desired.
