I absolutely love the holidays and look for any reason to make mealtime a bit more festive.

Of course I don’t have a lot of extra time to spend doing elaborate meals and desserts. Instead, I find ways to celebrate that are quick and easy while still being fun and TASTY! My Carrot Patch Sundae Cups are a dessert option that fits the bill perfectly!

Pick up any of your favorite Breyers Ice Cream plus a few other items and you are on your way to a delicious dessert in a flash. Even better, you can save on your purchase of Breyers Ice Cream with the big Publix digital coupon.

The coupon is valid on any flavor that you love. I decided to check out the new non-dairy dessert. Available in several tasty flavors, these frozen desserts are made with real almond milk and have the same taste you love. You get a delightful treat without the dairy! I had a hard time deciding which flavor to choose. I was wavering between the Non-Dairy OREO® and the Non-Dairy Chocolate Chocolate Chip. I decided that since I’d be using the cookies on top, the chocolate chip was a better option…and boy oh boy, it was AMAZING!

The “carrots” are the only things that really take any effort and making them is really simple. Just melt some chocolate wafers (or white almond bark) and mix with a little food coloring. Dip the berries and place on wax paper to harden. From start to finish this might take you all of 10 minutes.

Next, add the chocolate cookies to a zip top bag and crush them with a rolling pin. They don’t need to be pulverized, just crush the cookies until the texture resembles dirt. I don’t mind them being a bit chunky…I figure there are rocks and such in dirt too, right?!

All that’s left is the assembly!

Add a scoop of that delicious Breyers Non-Dairy Chocolate Chocolate Chip Frozen Dessert into a cup. I like to use a clear cup but you can go with whatever you have on hand. Top that with a little of the cookie “dirt” and then poke of your “carrots” down into the crumbled cookies. Add a marshmallow bunny for a little extra fun and you are ready to go! Grab a spoon and enjoy a fun and festive Carrot Patch Sundae Cup!

I have yet to meet anyone who didn’t grin ear to ear when they get handed one of these tasty treats. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Be sure to clip your digital coupon and pick up a super discount on your favorite Breyers flavor at Publix. Try Non-dairy Breyers now available at Publix!
