Grab a couple of ingredients and try my Quick & Easy Pulled Pork Hand Pies. You can use any meat that you prefer and have a tasty meal that’s perfect for a busy weeknight.
I like to serve it with a quick slaw that I make ahead of time so that I can get in and out of the kitchen fast.
- 12 oz tub of Curly’s Pulled Meat (pork, beef or chicken)
- 2 refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon water
- BBQ seasoning (if desired)
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and water then set aside.
- Sprinkle your work surface with a little flour and roll out each pie crust to about 1/8″ thickness.
- Using a knife or pizza wheel, cut out 6 equal size rectangles from each pie crust.
- Brush 6 of the rectangles with the egg wash and add about 2 tablespoons of Curly’s meat to the center of the dough.
- Place another rectangle dough on top of the meat filled rectangle and use a fork to crimp the edges and seal the hand pie.
- Repeat to create a total of 6 pies.
- Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with BBQ seasoning.
- Place the filled pies on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 18 – 22 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
