My slow cooker is my best friend on a busy week. It seems that I use it more and more as things are constantly hectic here at my house. I really don’t know if my sanity (or my budget) would survive without it!

Being able to come home and have dinner ready really reduces my stress level. Things never seem to go according to plan so I expect that practices will run late, my kids will “forget” that they need something and traffic will have me home later than expected. Not having to worry about cooking when I am finally home helps me let the other things slide right off my list of things to care about.

Now, when I was a newly married gal the only thing I could make in the slow cooker was chili. Close to 2 decades later and now there isn’t much that I CAN’T cook in that baby!

One of my favorites is this Slow Cooker Pork Chops & Dressing recipe. It’s the delicious comfort foods that we all love without all the effort. It takes maybe 5 minutes to throw together and that’s it. I typically serve it with some veggies for a meal that only has me in the kitchen for less than 10 minutes.

The ingredient list is short as this recipe depends on Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork. The pork is already marinated, so you get great flavor without the need for a bunch of extra ingredients. Quick, easy and tasty…that’s right up my alley!

Grab a few ingredients and plan this meal for your next busy night. You’ll love the taste and how easy dinner comes together.
