CranberryWalnut-Large-2Do you ever get so busy that you don’t have time to make a meal? I hate to admit it, but it happens to me all the time. Now don’t get me wrong…I love to eat and don’t purposely skip meals. Often I am so busy that I put off making lunch and then look up to see that the whole day has passed by and it’s time to get the boys from school.

Now I can tell you that I never, ever miss lunch when I have a Ready Pac® Bistro® Bowl™ salad in my fridge. I absolutely love those salads not only because they taste amazing but because they are so convenient. Everything you need is right in the bowl and it’s totally portable! Since I am usually running a million errands each day, I can grab my computer, phone and the salad and head out the door. You might find me sitting outside of Publix typing up deals, waiting in line at the dry cleaner, getting an oil change or any of the other dozens of errands I run each day. I can get everything accomplished and have a delicious lunch that’s 300 calories or less!

One of my favorite salads is the Cranberry Walnut salad.  This one is sweet and crunchy. It’s perfect for for vegetarians as there’s no meat in this salad. It’s a blend of baby lettuce and greens with feta cheese, flat bread chips, dried cranberries and candied walnuts. It comes with a delicious raspberry vinaigrette and of course a fork… just in case you are eating on the go!

You can find the following varieties at Publix. Each offer restaurant inspired flavor and are full of flavor. You get an array of savory cheeses and dressings with crunchy toppers…heck, you even get the spoon! They are available in classic, chopped and vegetarian recipes so there are options no matter what you are craving.

I wanted to remind you that we will have a BOGO sale happening at Publix. My buddies at Ready Pac gave me a little more info that I wanted to share. The BOGO sale will actually happen in two waves. Some folks will have the BOGO sale starting tomorrow 5/12 while other folks will see the sale starting next week.  It looks like folks in the Lakeland, Orlando and Jacksonville divisions will get the sale this week while Atlanta and Miami divisions get the sale next week.

I can’t wait to stock up so I can make sure I have a delicious lunch even on my super busy days!

This post is brought to you by the folks at Ready Pac. All comments and opinions are my own.
