Chicken & Waffles

You guys know that waffles aren’t just for breakfast, right?! Both of my boys love breakfast foods of all sorts. I take advantage of that fact and often do breakfast for dinner. That ensures that there’s no grumping at the dinner table and it’s pretty much guaranteed that they clean their plates.

How about doing fun mix of breakfast and dinner. The perfect blend of both is chicken and waffles. Whenever we go out to eat, my little Jeb-a-doo looks for this on the menu. He loves this meal so I started making an easy version for him at home. All you do is cook up some chicken tenders and Aunt Jemima Waffles. Pop a tender in a toasted waffle and serve with the special sauce. Ok…the sauce is just a combination of syrup and honey mustard. I told you it was an easy meal!

This is also a super economical meal. I usually just serve it with a little fruit and maybe some yogurt for the boys. With a sale and coupons you can make this meal for a fraction of what they charge at a restaurant.

We have lots of Aunt Jemima coupons to make sure you get a great price –
