With all the holiday entertaining that we are all doing, I thought I’d share one of the easiest and most delicious recipes using Jimmy Dean Sausage Crumbles – Cheesy Sausage Pinwheels!

They are great because they take almost no time to prepare and everyone loves them. Just be prepared…when you put them out they’ll be gone in minutes. You might consider making two batches!

Cheesy Sausage Pinwheels

Serves: 10 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls or refrigerated seamless crescent dough sheet
  • 1/4 cup garlic and herb cheese spread
  • 1/2 cup Jimmy Dean® Original Sausage Crumbles
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Unroll crescent dough into 4 rectangles or cut into 4 rectangles. Place on lightly floured surface.
  3. Firmly press perforations to seal if using crescent rolls. Press or roll each to form 8×5-inch rectangle.
  4. Spread 1 tablespoon cheese spread over each rectangle.
  5. Sprinkle each with 2 tablespoons sausage.
  6. Starting at short side; roll up to form 4 rolls, sealing long edges. Cut each roll into 5 slices using a serrated knife.
  7. Place spirals cut side up on greased baking sheets.
  8. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from cookie sheets and serve warm.
