Maple Ginger Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs skinless chicken thighs or chicken breast
  • 1 cup Spring Tree Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Combine Spring Tree Maple Syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the chicken to a bowl or zip top bag and pour over the prepared marinade. Cover/close and refrigerate and allow to marinate for at least 2 hours, up to 6 hours.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade, place the marinade in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Preheat grill to medium high and grill the chicken over medium heat for approximately 8 minutes per side, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. Baste the chicken with the cooked marinade during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
