The holidays are here, and this is the most hectic time of the year. If you’re like me, your calendar is completely full with a mix of gatherings, celebrations, and cozy nights in. Naturally, this is the time of year when food takes center stage—and if you’re looking for one ingredient to elevate your entire holiday menu, look no further than Cabot Cheese.
From quick weeknight dinners to show-stopping party platters, Cabot is more than just a block of cheese, it’s the perfect way to bring award-winning flavor and quality to every opportunity on your holiday calendar.
During this hectic season, you don’t always have time for a gourmet meal, but you shouldn’t have to compromise on taste. Cabot cheese is perfect for making everyday meals feel a little more special. For cozy dinners, try shredding their Sharp Cheddar into your mac and cheese or sprinkling their Pepper Jack over a hearty chili for that perfect kick of flavor. Even quick lunches can be elevated… a grilled cheese sandwich made with Cabot’s Seriously Sharp is a simple, indulgent treat that reminds you what real cheese tastes like.
And when it comes to game day gatherings, Cabot is a menu essential. Whether you’re watching the big game from the couch or hosting a house full of fans, Cabot is the MVP of your snack spread. Their tangy Pepper Jack is the secret to a knockout queso dip that will disappear faster than the halftime whistle. For easy appetizers, cube up a variety of flavors—from Extra Sharp to Gouda to create a stunning and simple charcuterie board that requires zero cooking.
As you move into the main event season—Christmas brunches, and New Year’s Eve—Cabot is the foundational ingredient you need for holiday essentials. A well-curated cheese board is an absolute must for entertaining. Just feature several Cabot varieties to give your guests a delicious journey of textures and flavors. Plus, when it comes to baking, their high-quality cheese adds richness and depth that only real, aged cheddar can provide.
And Cabot is the star of the dish you see above… my Hash Brown Casserole. No matter the event—a holiday luncheon, a side dish for a Christmas ham, or a warming casserole for a New Year’s Day brunch—this is the ultimate recipe that is easy to make and serves a big group with ease.
My recipe for Hash Brown Casserole relies on the exceptional melt and robust flavor of Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar to transform simple ingredients into a delicious and totally unforgettable dish.
It’s the ultimate comfort food—rich, cheesy, and guaranteed to be scraped clean!
So as you are planning your menu for all the activities on your holiday calendar, be sure you have plenty of Cabot Cheese on hand. Look for a huge selection in the dairy department at your local Publix.
