And since it’s simple to prepare, even a kitchen novice will have no problem with this easy-to-make recipe!

Made with Gary’s QuickSteak® Chicken, this dish comes together in a flash. In fact, you can have it ready in under 30 minutes from start to finish! And besides being super easy to prepare, it’s also a true crowd-pleaser, making it an excellent option for a family dinner on Mother’s Day.

Simply gather a few ingredients and whip up a scrumptious dish that’s sure to please.

Start by cooking a package of Gary’s QuickSteak Chicken Breast with Rib Meat in a skillet. Gary’s QuickSteak® Chicken is ightly marinated in all-natural flavors and goes from frozen to finished in less than four minutes. Just  place the frozen chicken in a pan until you hear the sizzle, then flip it over and watch it separate into tender slices.

From there you add some corn, black beans, tomatoes with chilis and a few spices. Cook for about 5 minutes and then it’s time to start layering the tortilla pie!

Simply place a tortilla in the bottom of your dish then add a third of the meat mixture. Next comes any toppings you love. I like to add black olives and cheese.

Repeat the layers twice and finish with a tortilla and a little more cheese and pop it in the oven to allow the cheese to melt and get bubbly.

All that’s left is to slice and serve.

Chicken Tortilla Pie

Prep Time 10 mins
Cook Time 7 hrs 12 mins


  • 10.8 oz package Gary's QuickSteak Chicken
  • 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup black beans
  • 1 cup corn - canned or frozen
  • 8 oz Colby jack cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup black olives


  • Preheat oven to 375º F.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and cook Gary's QuickSteak Chicken according to package directions.
  • Add the tomatoes with chilies, corn, black beans and all seasonings to the pan.
  • Stir and cook for about 5 minutes, until some of the liquid has absorbed. It's Ok for some liquid to remain. Remove from heat.
  • Place one tortilla in the bottom of a pie plate or round dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Add a third of the meat mixture then top with a third of the olives and about a quarter of the shredded cheese.
  • Add another tortilla and repeat the layers twice, ending with a tortilla.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top tortilla and bake for 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve with desired toppings.
