Nachos… for dessert? No, that’s not a misprint! This sweet, delicious and colorful dish is loaded with everything but the kitchen sink and sure to please a crowd.

Yes, this is definitely a feast for a big group. This is one of my favorite treats to make when I have a big group of kids at the house. I can literally throw everything on the plate and then step back and let them chow down.

There’s really no specific recipe needed to whip up some tasty dessert nachos. Simply raid your freezer and pull out a variety of  Breyers ice cream and as many toppings as you can find.

To get started, you just toast up some mini waffles and scatter them on a large platter. Then add scoops of ice cream and finally  layer on all the toppings.

When you are feeding teenage boys there is no such thing as too many toppings. Chocolate syrup, caramel, strawberry syrup, fruit, sprinkles, chocolate chips, whipped cream and maraschino cherries are good options. Of course, you can throw on anything that you love… there’s no right or wrong way to make the perfect Kitchen Sink Ice Cream Waffle Nachos.

Obviously, you can adjust the amount of nachos you make based on how many people you are feeding. Just a tip, if you are feeding a group of kids, you’ll definitely want to make a big plate of nachos!
