Chicken Cordon Bleu Flatbread -Super Meal To Go With The Sales At Publix

Oct 17, 20193 comments

As I was looking at the deals this week, the first thing that jumped out at me was the makings of Chicken Cordon Bleu. When I spotted the BOGO sale on Toufayan Flatbread, I decided that my Chicken Cordon Bleu Flatbread would be on my menu instead.

You can do a pasta dinner on the cheap…or if you have pizza addicts like me, this is a nice change of pace. Plus, you will get a lot of food for your moolah. You can put this one together AND still end up with lots of leftover items that will help you create several other meals.

  • Toufayan Tandoori Flatbread, 18 oz, BOGO $2.99
  • Tyson Chicken Nuggets or Tenders or Patties, or Country Fried Steak or Steak Fingers, 20.5 to 32 oz, BOGO $5.58 – $6.79
  • Smithfield Boneless Ham Steak, Maple Flavored, Honey Cured, or Hickory, Smoked, Fully Cooked, 8 oz, BOGO $3.59 – $3.99
  • Kraft or Taco Bell Shredded Cheese, 6 to 8 oz, 2/$6
  • Classico Pasta Sauce, 15 or 24 oz jar, BOGO $2.56
  • Birds Eye Spinach, BOGO $1.49

You can get all the ingredients needed for this meal for about $11…which means you are serving up a tasty meal for less than $3 per person! And of course the added bonus of leftovers for other meals…

What’s even better is that this meal comes together in a flash. You’ll notice I also added bacon bits to my flatbread. I gotta find a way to use up all those from this week’s Try Me Tuesday–tee hee!

Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think.
