Is your mouth watering? I can promise you that Bread Bowl Jambalaya is just as amazing as it looks!

While it may look like it takes a ton of effort to whip up a tasty meal that includes perfectly seasoned jambalaya in an edible bowl—it’s actually incredibly simple. That’s because I let Publix make the bread dough and look to Jambalaya Girl for a super simple jambalaya mix.

Jambalaya Girl Jambalaya Rice Mix offers an authentic taste of New Orleans that you can make at home. It’s the best jambalaya mix that I have found. It even gets a seal of approval from my husband. Being from the Gulf Coast, he considers himself somewhat of an expert in cajun cuisine. I have tried dozens of different recipes and mixes looking for the flavor that he grew up eating. Jambalaya Girl offers him the all that big flavor that he loves.

I also love the taste and the fact that it’s crazy simple to make. I don’t need a bunch of ingredients or have to spend a ton of time chopping and measuring. I grab whatever protein that I have handy. Then with a little water and that specially blended rice mix, I have a tasty meal that’s ready in a flash

You can make it with chicken, sausage or your favorite seafood. OR…if you are like me, a little bit of all three! If you want to take your meal to the next level, bake up some bread bowls and you have a meal that your family will absolutely love.

If you are also a fan of Jambalya Girl, you will be happy to know that we have a BOGO sale this week at Publix. Look for the jambalaya and gumbo mixes on sale through 10/16 (10/15 for some). If you haven’t tried the mixes, now is the perfect time to  check them out!

    • Nope not really — I actually added a bit more heat with spicy sausage as my hubby likes it on the hot side.
