Of course the most important part is the taste.
I realize that some of you may be a little iffy about how this dish will go over with your family. Yes, the pasta and rice are made of 100% vegetables…but they are also 100% delicious. I can tell you from experience that every single variety tastes great. In fact, I have two VERY picky boys who are pasta-aholics and they like these meals. In all honesty, I just don’t broadcast the fact that they are eating a big ol’ helping of veggies instead of pasta/rice.
Of course if I filled their plate with what looked like veggies, they’d have a fit and I’d never hear the end of it. BUT–since the veggies look like the foods they love, they eat it up!
