Back to school can be a bit chaotic so I look for any opportunity to save the big three—time, money AND sanity! Those are typically the three things that I struggle to hold on to this time of year.
This will be the first full week of school for my youngest kiddo. He went back last week but it was only for a couple of days. Football also started up so things were busy! While I only had a taste of my new schedule, it was enough to motivate me to get back into some heavy meal planning!
I find that when I take the time to write down my menu, I save time and money. There’s no last minute rushing around or multiple trips to the store because I need a missing ingredient. I am able to plan ahead and have everything on hand when I need it. That means less stress which makes me a very happy gal!
This time of year I am all about meals that are quick and those that I can prep ahead of time. I know there are lots of you in the same boat as me so I thought I would share one of my family’s all time favorite recipes. This one would probably be on my meal rotation every single week if it were up to my guys. I have to admit that it’s one of my favorites as well…both for how it tastes and how crazy simple it is to make.
Easy Meatball Pie only requires four ingredients and about 5 minutes of prep time. You then toss the pie in the oven to bake for about 35 minutes and you are ready to roll!
Now before you shake your head and think there is no way that this recipe can taste good with only four ingredients…it’s all about those meatballs! I choose Cooked Perfect® Meatballs for this recipe as they are perfectly seasoned and bring big flavor to what would otherwise be a super simple dish. Cooked Perfect Meatballs are crafted with select meats, real cheeses, and aromatic herbs and spices then flame-broiled to sear in the flavor for a delicious tasting meatball.
You can use any of your favorite varieties including the new Cooked Perfect All Natural Meatballs. Cooked Perfect All Natural Meatballs are available in Italian and Homestyle varieties. These meatballs feature minimally processed ingredients including beef and pork raised without antibiotics and artificial hormones.
I always have about 2 or 3 bags of Cooked Perfect Meatballs in my freezer. We love the taste and because they are fully cooked, they only take minutes to prepare in the microwave, oven or stove top. One bag can become about a dozen different recipes that are ready in a flash. One day it may be spaghetti and meatballs, then another day it’s meatballs subs, the next week maybe its my Easy Meatball Pie…the options are endless!
With it being such a hectic time of year, I depend on Cooked Perfect Meatballs to help me serve up delicious meals that are quick, delicious and convenient!

I like to make individual pies otherwise my guys would fight over a big pie. Sometimes single servings keeps the peace in a house of hungry guys! Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think.
