Once the warm weather starts up, you’ll probably find me outside. I spend hours each spring outside in my garden working with my plants and flowers. It’s my favorite place to be on the weekends. I even get the opportunity to sneak out during the week on occasion.

Spring is also when I start working on my big cleaning list.  After many years of practice, I have learned that my best bet is to clean smart instead of hard.

Knowing where to start is as important as what you use to clean. Starting at the top and working your way down means that you won’t be cleaning things multiple times. Think about it, would you sweep before you dust? Of course not! It’s counterproductive and just means more work!

When you are making your cleaning list take into account the steps in which you are cleaning. Don’t do more work than you need to do. Also be sure to choose the right products so that cleaning is as quick and easy as possible.
