Serves: 2 – 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 Dozen Chicken Wings
  • 1 16-Ounce Container Garden Fresh Gourmet® Thick ‘n Chunky or Organic Restaurant Style Medium Salsa
  • 3 Limes, Juiced
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
Instructions
  1. Put half of the Garden Fresh Gourmet Thick ‘n Chunky or Organic Restaurant Style Salsa and two-thirds of the lime juice in a medium bowl. Marinate the wings for three hours or overnight. Before grilling wings, make sauce by combining remaining lime juice, remaining salsa, honey, and vinegar in a small saucepan. Whisk in the cornstarch. Gently whisk over medium heat until thickened.
  2. Preheat grill or grill pan on medium heat. Remove wings from marinade and place on grill, cover and turning occasionally. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until skin is golden brown and crispy. Remove from the grill, and coat in the sauce.
