One of my favorite promos is back! The Produce for Kids campaign with Publix is taking place in all stores now through November 1st.

The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds for local Feeding America® food banks. What’s nice is that you can help just by doing your weekly grocery shopping. Yep, it’s as easy as adding nutritious fruits and vegetables to your cart. Pick up participating brands and help local food banks while serving up great nutrition and great taste to your family. I told you it was easy!

Just look for the in-store signage, featuring the Produce for Kids and Feeding America logo in the Publix produce department. I’ll make it even easier for you by listing the participating brands below. That way you can work these different products into your weekly menu and add them to your shopping list.

  • Avocados from Mexico Mexican Hass Avocados
  • CMI Orchard Apples
  • Crunch Pak® Sliced Apples
  • Del Monte® Fruit Naturals® Cups
  • Eat Smart® Fresh Cut Vegetables & Salads
  • Fresh Express® Packaged Salads
  • Little Bear Brand® Vidalia® Sweet Onions
  • Marie’s® Dressings
  • Michigan Apples
  • Tsamma Juice

You’ll notice that Tsamma Juice is a participating brand this time. Besides great taste, a bottle of Tsamma Juice offers some pretty nice benefits. The refreshing taste of farm fresh watermelon fuels your body with natural electrolytes and powerful nutrients that accelerate hydration and recovery.

It’s perfect as a tasty after-workout beverage and is awesome in recipes too! Here are a couple of ideas to get you started. Just a tip…the chicken recipe is AMAZING!

While you are perusing the produce department, be sure and pick some tasty CMI Orchard Apples.   Enjoy premium quality apples that are perfect for snacking and in all your favorite recipes. Here are a couple of delicious options to add to your weekly menu –

To date, Produce for Kids and Publix have donated more than 4 million meals to families in need. How about we increase that number?! Learn more and grab more tasty recipes at
