It’s that time of year when many of us are gearing up for back to school! I am trying to psych myself up so I’ll be ready to deal with those early mornings again. I am not exactly a morning person so it will take a bit of effort to drag myself out of bed those first few weeks.
I have already started to gather supplies to send in the boys lunchboxes and I am working on breakfast ideas as well. One of our favorite breakfast options is a big glass of Carnation Breakfast Essentials®! Besides being super quick and convenient, the taste just can’t be beat.

Even on those days when I am running behind, I still have time to mix up a tasty drink. I can mix it up in one of my big tumblers and take it with me as I rush out the door to carpool.
I also love that there are lots of different flavors so everyone can pick their favorites. It’s a great option if you happen to have a picky eater at your house! Plus, the power can be used beyond breakfast. My guys love smoothies and Carnation Breakfast Essentials® is a fantastic base for dozens of different smoothie combinations. I often just use the fruit I have on hand with a packet, some milk and a little ice to make the ultimate anytime snack!
I keep the canisters and the packets on hand so that I can whip up a drink, or snack in a matter of minutes. It’s a quick and convenient option that’s a must have at my house. I have a feeling those first few weeks after school starts, I’ll be VERY appreciative for such an easy breakfast option!
