publix-logo-graphicHave you guys been stocking up on all the great products that are part of the Produce for Kids campaign that’s running at Publix? Remember now through June 2, when you bring home delicious and healthy foods for your family you’ll help support local families and children in-need.

To date, Produce for Kids and Publix have raised more than $2.7 million to support local children’s charities. All you have to do to help is simply look for the tags and support those great brands that are participating in the campaign. When you purchase the participating products you help feed local families…it’s that simple!

Look for the signs when you shop then grab your family’s favorite products. If you need some recipe inspiration there are TONS of options over on the Produce For Kids website.

Both Driscoll’s® Raspberries and Crunch Pak® Sliced Apples are participating brands this year and would be a fabulous addition to your cart. Both are fantastic as a healthy snack and of course would be great as part of a tasty fruit salad but I have an amazing recipe that your whole family will love. This is a great breakfast option that packs all the delicious flavors of summer in your bowl. Try this Apple & Berry Quinoa Crisp Bowl recipe instead of your basic oatmeal or sugary cereal. It’s a great recipe to start your day!

It’s also an awesome make-ahead option so you can have a healthy breakfast on a busy weekday morning! Who needs boring cereal when you can have big flavor like this?
