You guys know I love to entertain. Whether it’s just a small dinner party or a huge gathering, our friends know that they are welcome anytime! Of course whenever friends gather, there will be lots of food involved.
I love making a variety of sweet and savory dips. Dips are quick and easy to put together and they give people more opportunity to enjoy foods that they like. If you spend all your time and energy focusing on one or two main dishes and only a fraction of your guests enjoy it, it’s counterproductive! You can whip up 4 – 6 dips with a variety of ingredients, ensuring that you make more people happy.
So many folks have dietary restrictions these days that it’s always nice to offer options that allow them to join in on the fun too. The folks at Toufayan recently introduced a line of Gluten Free Pita Chips that taste delicious! They are crisp and crunchy and have a “Scoop-able” shape that’s perfect for all your favorite dips.
- Chili Lime
- Sea Salt
- Salted Caramel
The folks at Toufayan sent us some of the chips and I had some friends coming over so I decided to whip up one of our favorite dips to go along with the Salted Caramel Pita Chips – Peanut Butter Cream Chip Dip!
The combination was fantastic. The sweet and salty combination was perfect! The bowl was wiped out in no time flat. You can also add mini chocolate chips to the recipe and it’s delicious. We always called that version Buckeye Dip. You really can’t go wrong either way…they are both delicious!
Remember you can pick up so many fantastic Toufayan products at Publix. I love them for the taste and for the value! You can choose from the Flatbreads, Wraps, Pita Bread, Mini Pitettes, Smart Bagels, Smart Pockets and more. Look for them in the deli section when you shop at Publix.
