I have short, gray hair that is fine and thin. It used to be a light brown color, but has ALWAYS been fine and thin (thanks to my Dad! LOL) I started getting gray in my 20’s (again, thanks to my Dad) so I would frost my hair to cover it, but after awhile I just gave up and went with the flow.

I have very curly brown hair. no one ever believes it’s natural curls and not a perm. If I blow dry my hair it looks like I’ve been electricuted 🙂 My two youngest girls (3yrs and 20 months) like to try to straighten the curls using a brush. Both think it’s magic hair because the hair just bounces back to the same shape.

I was in my late 30’s when I finally dyed my hair to cover the gray (I started getting gray hairs at 16) and I said I would never go blonde. My husband and hairdresser both laugh at me because I am a dirty blonde now – the roots aren’t so noticeable when they start showing.

Originally, mine is black. I’m trying to grow out the color treated part then trim them and go back to my original color. What I love about my hair is its easy manageability and it’s always tangle-free even it’s color damaged.

People who cut my hair tell me I have beautiful hair. It is shiny, silky and very fine textured. I HATE my hair, to me it is flat, limp, no body, and too slippery to stay in a barrette or pony tail elastic. The minute I get a little lift in it with a voluming shampoo, the humidity makes it flat again. I’ve battled it all my life. Tried perms, coloring it, teasing it, moussing it, etc. Nothing really works so I finally resigned myself to a Vidal Sassoon haircut which doesn’t fit my face at all. There’s more to life than your hairdo although, when I was a teenager, I surely didn’t think so!

I love the color of my hair, or lack of color! I started going gray at a very young age, and hated it. I have colored my hair for years, going from dark brown (my birth color) to a blond that helped to hide the skunk stripe as it grew out. Then one day, I just decided to stop and embrace the gray. It took months to grow out all the color, but its gone and I am 100% natural and I LOVE IT! Funny thing, now I see young girls coloring their hair gray I must trend setter lol 🙂

I got my hair cut short in May. i live it, but it is so thick that it still gets hot and needs watching at least every other day. I’ve decided to get it cut shorter with more layers. Maybe that will help.

I love my thick dark brown hair , I can make it wavy with gel or blow dry it straight and shiny but it’s not all good I have gray hairs that come out a week after coloring it , yes only one week my hair grows very fast. I wish I can find a way to make it stop growing so fast , because I hate coloring my hair but I am still to young to let it grow gray.

I actually like the flexibility of my hair, like Yaz I can have naturally curly hair, but with the wonders of a flat iron I can go straight as well. It is medium to long dark brown hair with red highlights in the sun. Thank you so much for this opportunity, you always have such great give-a-ways.

At the moment, my hair is extremely long. I’m constantly in a cycle of growing my hair out, cutting it to donate, and then growing it out/donating again. I love having my long hair, but it sure does take a lot to maintain it.

The best compliment I can give my hair is that it’s very cooperative WHEN I put in the effort. If I want it straight, it straightens like a dream. If I want large, loose waves, it’ll do that too. Now, if I’m lazy and do nothing, it’s an unruly fuzzball. Ick.
