Day Eight: 10 Days Of Glade® Giveaway – Visit My Guest Area

Today I thought I’d show you around my guest bedroom and bathroom.

If you’re like me, when you have guests visiting, you want everything to be perfect. When we were building this house, I saw this room and panicked thinking that it was going to be too small. It seemed so tiny, I was afraid that we wouldn’t even be able to get a bed in the room. We decided that generally guests only sleep in their rooms so we decided to put our space towards other areas of the house.

Luckily, the bed fit fine and as you can see the nightstands were able to squeeze in too. You can’t see it, but there is even a large dresser off to the right as well.

I tried to provide everything that I think guests might need while away from home. I have comfortable pillows and lots of blankets. There’s a computer, magazines and toiletries. Of course I also want to make sure that the guest area feels inviting.

I have the Glade^® PlugIns^® in the bedroom next to the bed. The Glade^® PlugIns^® spreads an uplifting feeling that makes my guest feel at home.

I also have a warmer in the bathroom. I recently popped in the new Glade^® Blooming Peony & Cherry™ Wax Melt so that the entire guest area smells amazing. The new scent is a combination of fresh peony and pink roses mixed with cherry. It’s perfect for spring and adds a flirty and playful feel to my home.

My guest rooms and jack-and-jill bath are infrequently used so I like to use the Glade plug-ins to make these room smell fresh and inviting for those times when relatives visit overnight.

Whenever I have guests over I like them to feel nice and cozy so I tend to like the vanilla scent. Easy to make people feel like they’re home.

yup…are sols for the bathroom..so they are embarrassed if things get stinky..lol.
I have them out in the bedroom and they can plug in if they want..scents like lavender for relaxation. I have them out to plug in IF they want because so many of my friends and families are allergic to flowers/scents..the last thing I want to do is to make them sick with allergy infection.

I like to use glade plug ins everywhere. They are easily hidden and with all the scents available I can make my home smell wonderful. Vanilla is a “warm fuzzy”smell for me so I tend to use it in several areas.

Hum. Although we don’t have a guest room, we live in a 1, 1.5 condo. Are guests are happy and content to sleep on the fold out. 🙂
We keep our home smelling good with glade plug ins and spray in the bathroom; melts out on the deck on the water..it is serene none the less.

I use a Glade plug in in the living room which is the first room that guests enter. I use spray in the bathroom and like to keep a Glade candle in the kitchen to get rid of cooking odors.

I keep Plug-ins by front door so guests can smell it when they come into the house. I also make sure to have them in the guest bathroom (which is also the kids’ bathroom).

I have so many Glade plug ins, it’s ridiculous…but in a good way! I have one in our foyer (usually I use the Clean Linen scent or the Hawaiian Breeze) which always offers a calming, clean scent when you first walk in. In the side hallway where our guest bathroom and kids’ rooms I have a plug in oil/tart warmer-but use Glad wax melts. I usually put more of a fruity scent in there (usually the Lavender and Peach Blossom)-which the kids seem to like. The family room has 2 Glade plug ins as well as an oil warmer on the coffee table. I use Clean Linen for each of these to keep the scent consistent…but I change the scent with the seasons changing to usually one of the Glade Special Season Scents. In the kitchen I like to use Cashmere Woods. And lastly in our bedroom and bathroom we usually stay with Clean Linen (I just love the clean and fresh smell of that one!). The oil warmer is used in the bathroom and 2 plug ins in the bedroom.

My home is my sanctuary. When I have company I want them to feel relaxed and comforted also. Like everything in the world melts away So I place my Glade throughout the house. Especially where people gather. Plus I think when your house smells good it actually looks cleaner than maybe it actually is lol.
