I am not sure if you can tell in the description in the ad but you get 4 more waffles in a bag of the Aunt Jemima than you get in other brands! At my house that means an additional breakfast for each of my boys! With the coupon you are paying about 4¢ per waffle – awesome!

My guys love waffles and would have them for breakfast and dinner if they could. Rather than serve waffles with syrup every time, I like to change it up.  Jake loves a peanut butter and jelly waffle while Jeb is all about a sausage and waffle sandwich! There are so many options whether you want something sweet or savory.

waffle tacoI think I am going to make the Waffle Taco recipe over on the Aunt Jemima page. I think my boys would love that! Check the page for that recipe plus a delicious Waffle Wedges idea too. I’ll be picking up a couple of bags with the sale and if I get a chance, I may share some of our favorite ways to use the waffles as well.

Be sure and add these to your shopping list and get the making for delicious (and super easy) meals at a fantastic price.

  1. I tried these a month or so ago and was disappointed. The waffles were ok but the packaging was terrible. The plastic is very noisy, and it is harder to store the bag neatly in the freezer than it would be with a box. The Ziploc-type seal is a good idea but didn’t work very well for me. It was very hard to reseal them. Even at BOGO I am not sure I’d buy them again.

    • I had the same problem you did with keeping the bag closed so I ended up putting bag and all in a gallon Ziploc freezer bag. It worked well for me.

  2. I never put syrup on my waffles. My favorite way to eat them is with yogurt spread over them. YUM!
