Florida Orange Brownies
You guys know I love orange juice. Besides being delicious, one 8-ounce serving of orange juice is fat-free and, at 110 calories per 8-ounce glass, has fewer calories than some other commonly consumed 100% fruit juices. It’s just a great way to start the day!

While it’s definitely a super tasty beverage…did you know it also is fantastic in a ton of different recipes too? These Florida Orange Brownies are a perfect example of how to use take your 100% Florida Orange Juice beyond the breakfast table!

I love the taste of chocolate and orange together so this recipe was calling my name. I had originally made this recipe to serve at a party here at my house but the boys and I put such a big dent in the pan, I ended up making some cupcakes instead (I’ll share those another day!) Even as I was trying to snap a picture, I had little fingers attempting to take crumbs off the plate!

These brownies were really so good. The rich taste of chocolate paired with that fresh citrus taste was just amazing. I had settled on this recipe because I had everything in my kitchen. Check out the ingredients that are needed. It’s a small list and mostly things that I usually keep on hand.

I bet if you’d look, you probably have most of the things you need to whip these up today. Plus, I have an awesome new coupon to share that will score you free eggs with your 100% Florida OJ purchase!

With the holidays coming up I know many of us will be baking up a storm. Holiday dinners, parties and get togethers call for delicious treats. Grab your coupon and give these brownies a try. Just be careful, you might have to make a second batch if your family gets to them before your guests!

Ingredients
• Brownies
• 1 cup 100% Florida orange juice
• 4 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
• 2/3 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tablespoons orange zest
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• Orange Glaze
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• Zest of 1 orange
• 2-3 tablespoons 100% Florida orange juice
Instructions
Brownies
1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Grease and flour a 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
3. Place orange juice in small saucepan; cook over medium heat and reduce to ⅓ cup. Cool and reserve.
4. Melt chocolate and butter over very low heat in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring often.
5. Remove pan from heat; stir in sugar until mixture becomes smooth.
6. Stir in eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
7. Add reduced orange juice, orange zest and vanilla. Stir just until sugar is completely dissolved and mixture is smooth and glossy.
8. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir well.
9. Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture in thirds, stirring to combine but do not over mix.
10. Spread chocolate mixture in prepared baking pan and bake for 22 to 27 minutes. Brownies should just start to pull away from the sides of the pan and should still be a bit underdone in the center. Remove pan to wire rack and cool.
11. When completely cool, drizzle with Orange Glaze and garnish with orange zest, if desired.
12. Cut into 2¼-inch squares.
Orange Glaze
1. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and orange zest.
2. Stir in orange juice one tablespoon at a time until mixture becomes a thick glaze.
