Like most kids, my boys love spaghetti. My little one would eat it every day if I let him. I am not quite as fond of spaghetti so I opt for a meal like the one I am sharing today. I can boil up some noodles for the boys then use the rest of the noodles for a big bowl of Grilled Pork over Cold Noodle Salad.
I always make a huge batch and then eat the leftovers for lunch throughout the week.
The best part is that this recipe doesn’t take much longer to do than basic spaghetti. Just throw together the marinade and then just let your pasta swim in it for a while. You can marinate your meat and then just toss it on the grill before you are ready to eat.
The flavors are so good. I really could drink the marinade.

- 1 pound pork chops
- 1 pound thin spaghetti noodles (cooked according to package directions)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 3 teaspoons seasoned rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
- zest of one lime
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
- Combine soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, lime juice, lime zest, ginger and garlic. Whisk to combine.
- Place pork into resealable bag or bowl and pour 1/4 cup of marinade/sauce over pork.
- Pour the remaining sauce over the cooked noodles.
- Add chopped green onion, cover and refrigerate a minimum of 2 hours.
- Grill the pork for 3 – 4 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Thinly slice the pork and add to the pasta.
- Toss with the chopped cilantro.
Pick up a package of the cheap Publix Center-Cut Pork Rib Chops ($3.99/lb) and you can put this one together without breaking the bank!
