Have you guys had a chance to try Starbucks VIA® Lattes yet? My husband had the opportunity to check them out. The folks at Starbucks sent over both of the flavors – Vanilla Latte and Caffé Mocha. They came at the perfect time. He was able to pack them for his trip down to Atlanta to deal with repairs at our old house.
We have most of the old house already moved and that includes the coffee maker. It gets a workout here in Chattanooga and is just too big to pack for an overnight trip. Even though he was gone for just one night, he would have been lost without his morning cup of Joe. With the Starbucks VIA® Latte single serve pouches, I was able to pack a few in his bag and he only had to add hot water for a delicious morning pick me up!

I took that as a challenge and made one for myself. Now, I am not really a coffee person but the Caffé Mocha was very tasty. I don’t have a ton of experience with the various types of coffee and lattes, but to me it tasted like a rich hot chocolate with a big shot of coffee. I can tell you that it didn’t taste like it was an instant drink. It was very rich and had a definite cocoa flavor.
