My husband is a huge fan of green bean casserole but I don’t make it too often…because he is the only one who will really eat it! I might have to try out Laurie’s version as a special treat for him.
Of course I had to check out her cookie bar recipe and found it is the one I call “Seven Layers Bars”. Holy moly if you have never made these before –you will want to give them a go. If I ever make these I have to have a plan to give 3/4 of the pan away – they are so good but oh boy they are quite decadent. They are so sweet that my teeth are hurting just thinking about them – tee hee!
