Use as directed.

Fall is just around the corner! While we are enjoying pool weather right now, we’ll soon have to contend with the change in seasons and the allergies that come with it.

So what to do to get relief? Use Mucinex® Allergy to relieve your worst allergy symptoms.

Nasal allergens irritate your nose, leading to histamine release which in turn causes runny nose, sneezing, watery and/or itchy eyes. No one wants to go through the day miserable. All those allergy symptoms can really ruin your whole day.

When allergies are at their worst, we want to find a way to feel more normal and power through the day. There’s a Mucinex® product for Allergy that provides 24 hours of relief from your worst allergy symptoms. You get a medicine that helps stop the mucus that causes a runny nose. It also relieves sneezing and watery, itchy eyes in a non-drowsy, 24-hr medicine. That’s my kind of relief.

Mucinex® Allergy is non-drowsy, fast-acting*, prescription strength, and lasts for 24 hours.

Right now you can grab some great savings on great relief. Head over to the Publix Digital coupon page to load a coupon to save $3 off any Mucinex Allergy 30 ct. or larger. Just load your coupon and get your savings when you shop at Publix.

Coupon Question And Answer 7/23 – Best Of Ask I Heart Publix

July 23, 2014

Publix QA 2 Coupon Question And Answer 7/23 Best Of Ask I Heart Publix

We’ve been answering questions for Ask I Heart Publix for over three years now, and we’ve definitely found that some questions keep popping up as new couponers write in. So every month we’re going to feature a “Best Of” Ask I Heart Publix, where we post some of our favorite questions and answers from past weeks, months, and years.

Don’t worry….we’ll still be answering the new questions you guys send in, too, so keep sending in those questions! Just remember if we didn’t get to your question this week…we will do our best to cover it another week!!

Don’t forget to look under the “About” tab where you can find the questions and answers from past weeks!

Here are this week’s “Best of” questions:

  1. I notice on your weekly totals that you usually have several free product coupons. How do you get those?
  2. Where can I submit a question for the Ask I Heart Publix segment?
  3. How can I figure out what percentage I’ve saved?
  4. Can I use a $X/$XX coupon along with the gas card coupon?
  5. How do you know when a coupon resets?

And here are the answers!

1. Kelley wants to know: Where do you get the free product coupons?

Often companies send me coupons as a way to introduce me to their products. Some will also send them to me as a thank you for posting their promotions. I call it a blogger perk icon smile Coupon Question And Answer 7/23 Best Of Ask I Heart Publix It doesn’t happen too often but I certainly don’t mind when it does.

Sometimes they even send food. I have received 4 huge boxes so far this week. My new food blog (I Heart Kitchen) has opened a few doors to companies that are looking for me to use their food in my recipes. Hey, I am always open to trying things out.

Try Me Tuesday – Publix Bagels

July 22, 2014

bagels publix Try Me Tuesday Publix BagelsWelcome to this week’s Try Me Tuesday. Each week I will grab a new set of products and test them out. I’ll put the Publix brand up against a national brand product and report back.

I know many times I struggle with what brand to choose. Often a sale or a coupon/sale combination make that an easier decision…but what about those times when you need an item and there is not a sale? Do you grab the house brand or pay more and get the national brand? More importantly, is there really a difference in taste?

This week we did a bagel taste test….yum–I LOVE bagels!!

RESULTS

  • Publix Bagels – 1
  • Thomas’ Bagels – 3

While it looks like the Thomas’ Bagels won by a landslide…it was actually much closer. Everyone went back and forth but ultimately most of us decided that the Thomas’s Bagel tasted better. Now notice that we tasted the big boys…I think there might be a smaller type of bagel available maybe from Lenders? These were the large “premium bagels.” While the textures were very similar, there was a little different taste and for us the Thomas’ won.

Now without a sale, the Publix is a much better deal but if you shop when the Thomas’ Bagels are BOGO you will be able to get a very nice deal that is comparable to the Publix brand price!

Have you guys tried both? Which did you prefer?
