Printable Coupons – Kashi, Haribo & Little Remedies

printable couponsIt looks like many of the printable coupons have reset and there are even a couple of new ones tonight. I am sitting here on the couch with my laptop while my hubby watches football...I think that's a perfect time to print a few coupons.

If you feel like firing up your printer here are a couple of good ones. That Kashi coupon is a great value and will mean almost half price treats!

Weekly Totals 11/30 – Share Your Savings

weekly totals

Happy Friday everyone!

Most of this week was spent getting back into the swing of things. Being out of town last week meant a ton of dirty laundry and a lot of effort trying to get the boys back on schedule. I think we are just now caught up on laundry...with two boys there is always something dirty but a week of dirty stuff is a lot to deal with. Add in Cyber Monday work-o-rama here on the sites and my house has not been in tip top shape. I think today I am finally back on track (for at least 5 minutes 😉 )

I did manage to make it to the store to grab a few things. My produce box doesn't come until Thursday, so I had to grab a few things to get us through the early part of the week. I also had to grab some pizza fixins! You guys know that my husband is a HUGE Alabama football fan. Tomorrow is the big game and he gave me a warning that any plans we had for tomorrow would have to be done early as he would be planted in his chair by 3pm! He requested pizza as his game day dinner. No delivery Publix pizza dough and my toppings will make for a super easy dinner. I'll make him take me to lunch on Sunday to make up for missing my night off - tee hee!

I decided to grab a sub meal for lunch since I needed to pick up soda for my husband. The Publix coupon gave me a nice little perk and I was a bit hungry - so it was a win/win. Plus, I already got my ibotta deposit for the Coke Zero--woo hoo! Not much but it all adds up!

I also decided that I needed to go ahead and grab some syrup and rice. I have just about depleted my stock on both. So it was grab the sale items now or wait until I was totally out and pay full price. I opted to get the sale while I could! My few weeks here and there not keeping an eye on my pantry and skipping shopping is biting me in the hiney a little bit. I still think I did pretty good.

Here is what I got this week -

Publix Sub - $6.39
Bananas - $1.76
Cilantro - 99¢
Bell Peppers = $2.11
Shrooms - $1.99
Onion - 67¢
Garlic - 33¢
Bread - $1.37
Pizza Dough - $2.69
Smart Balance x 2= $0 (two $1/1 PQ & $1/2 MQ)
Milk = $3.39
Danimals - $4.69
Sorrento Mozz = $3.99 (PQ + Blinkie)
International Delight x 2 = $0 (two $1/1 IP + $1.50/2 TQ)
Baileys Creamer = 50¢ ($1/1 blinkie)
Muir Glen Tomato Sauce x 2 = $0 (two $0.50/1)
Riceland Rice = $7.99
Coke Zero 20 pk = $4.59 ($2 PQ wyb deli)
Goody Hair Bands x 2 = $2.18 ($1/2 MQ = $1/2 PQ)
Toaster Strudel x 8 = $4 (four $0.50/2)
Eggo x 2 = $1 ($1/1 IP)
DeWafelbakkers x 2 = $0 (free prod Q)
Aunt Jemima Syrup x 2 = $3.65
Mrs Smith's Pies x 2 = $0 (free prod Q)
Tai Pei = $0 (free prod Q)

I spent about $53 but I got a ton of groceries. Plus, my pizza will be much better and cheaper than if I had to go pick up a pizza from Papa Johns or the like (no delivery in the boonies!)

Zaycon – Breaded Chicken Tenders $1.99 Per Pound!

zayconKarina emailed with a great find! Zaycon is bringing a new product to us - breaded chicken tenders!

They are offering them in 20 pound boxes at $1.99 per pound. If my boys had their choice they would have chicken for every single meal every day. Of course that will never happen...but I did grab a box at that price.

Usually the boys get to pick whatever they want for lunch on Saturday and pretty much every week it is chicken nuggets/tenders. When I don't have any in the freezer... I have to whip up homemade nuggets. Ok, while not the end of the world - it does take a bit of time to cook those babies up. I can't wait to pick these up and save myself a little time!

When I logged in it looked like these were available in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Log in to see if they are available in your neck of the woods.

Also, I saw that the lean ground beef is also on sale at $3.29/lb. So grab it as well while you can!

Thanks to Karina!

Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish Pies Review & Giveaway

This post brought to you by Mrs. Smith's. All opinions are 100% mine.

One of the perks of running this site is that I get the opportunity to try out some great products. I was recently given the opportunity to try the Mrs. Smith's Signature Deep Dish pies. I just couldn't turn down the chance to try out some yummy desserts.

The holidays are when I spend the most time in the kitchen. Baking and cooking up goodies for guests, parties, cookie swaps, holiday dinners, school parties and more. It can get crazy! I am always looking for a way to simplify. When I have folks over for dinner, I try to have a couple of dessert options. I also like to actually be able to spend time with my guests instead of stuck in the kitchen. The Mrs. Smith's pies allow me to serve a great dessert with almost no effort.

Mrs. Smith's Signature Deep Dish pies are available in 4 varieties:

  • Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce
  • Signature Deep DishCherry Pie with Butter Fudge Sauce
  • Signature Deep Dish Peach Pie with Cream Cheese Icing
  • Signature Deep Dish Pumpkin Pie with Cream Cheese Icing

We sampled all of the pies and my family's favorite by far was the Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce. It was just delicious. The pie was fantastic and the addition of the Caramel Sauce made it just delicous. I let the boys decorate their pie with the sauce. They had a blast adding a little design of flavor to their pies. The sauce added a nice finish to an already delcious dessert!

I have some good news. The folks at Mrs. Smith's are giving one I Heart Publix reader a coupon for a Deep Dish pie as well as a $50 Williams-Sonoma Gift Card!

Entry is simple, you just need to complete the task below! You can gain two bonus entry as well (just make sure that you leave one entry for each — up to a total of 3 comments.) As a reminder, comments left on Facebook, Twitter or other posts will not be included.  I will choose the winners on Monday 12/10 at 11:59 pm EST.

  • Let me know which of the 4 pies you would try and tell me what you would buy with your gift card if you won!
