Ingredients

  • 10.8 oz package Gary's QuickSteak
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 1 bell pepper - chopped
  • 1 small onion - chopped
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450º F.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and cook Gary's QuickSteak according to package directions, using the seasoning packet included in the package. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the chopped onion and bell pepper and cook for 3 - 5 minutes, until softened. Mix the cooked veggies with the cooked beef.
  • Use a small knife to cut 24 small football shapes from the 2 pie crusts.
  • Add a spoonful of meat/veggie mixture atop 12 of the footballs. Sprinkle a small amount of cheese over top.
  • Place another piece of the cut dough over top and use a fork to crimp and seal the edges.
  • Cut lines down the middle of the top dough to resemble football laces.
  • Place the hand pies on a parchment lined sheet pan and bake for 17 - 20 minutes, until golden brown.
