Peanut Butter Popcorn Granola Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups Jolly Time Pop Corn, popped - unpopped kernels removed
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup NATURAL peanut butter
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup roasted and salted peanuts - roughly chopped

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place the popcorn, peanuts and quick oats in a large bowl and set aside.
  3. Add the honey to a small sauce pan and heat over medium heat until it begins to boil.
  4. Stir in the peanut butter then remove from heat.
  5. Pour the mixture over the popcorn mixture and stir to coat.
  6. Place the mixture into the prepared pan and press with wax paper or parchment until even and compact.
  7. Refrigerate for an hour.
  8. Once chilled, cut into bars and serve.

Notes

Their recipe works best if you use the runny-type natural peanut butter that you stir...not the traditional smooth peanut butter.
