Method
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- To a medium bowl, add the oats, nuts, melted butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt and vanilla extract and mix to combine.
- Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle the dried fruit and coconut strips over the granola. Use a spatula to gently combine.
- Place the mixture back into the oven for an additional 12 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely. Store in a sealed container.
