STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE DIP
- Add the cold heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and the vanilla to a cold mixing bowl and beat the mixture on high for 2 - 3 minutes, until stiff peaks form.
- Mash 1 cup of strawberries and drain any juice.
- In a separate bowl, cream the cream cheese and the remaining 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar until combined.
- Add the strawberry pulp and mix to combine.
- Fold in the prepared whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Gently fold in the remaining 1/4 cup of chopped strawberries.
- Chill until ready to use.
FRENCH TOAST
- In a shallow bowl, add the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt and whisk to combine.
- Dip the Original Hawaiian Sweet Sliced Bread into the egg mixture, two at a time, flipping to coat both sides of the bread in the egg mixture.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet.
- Add the coated bread sliced to the pan and cook over medium heat for 2 - 3 minutes per side until golden brown, flipping once.
- Dip the remaining bread into the egg mixture and cook until golden, adding butter to the skillet as needed.
- Serve with the prepared strawberry cream cheese dip and/or syrup if desired.
