Easy Marinated Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh herbs: parsley, rosemary, thyme, cilantro... your favorite combination!
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Method
 

  1. Stir together olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, herbs, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Combine chicken and marinade in a Ziploc® Brand Gallon Storage bag, press out excess air and seal the bag.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, up to 4 hours.
  4. Preheat grill to medium high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off. Grill chicken for 5 to 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  6. Baste the chicken occasionally with the reserved marinade.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked through (cooked to 165°F), remove the chicken from grill and tent with foil. Rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
