Cheesy Chicken Bacon Sliders

Ingredients
  

  • 1 12ct package of KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Sweet Rolls 
  • 6 chicken tenders - halved
  • 3/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese - shredded
  • parmesan cheese - grated

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400º F. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place the KING’S HAWAIIAN Original Sweet Rolls on the prepared pan, keeping the rolls connected. Use a sharp knife to cut a round hole in the top of each roll, about 2/3 of the way down. Remove the cut piece of bread, leaving a well for the filling.
  3. Spoon 1 tablespoon of marinara into the each of the wells, followed by about 1 teaspoon of shredded mozzarella and a teaspoon of bacon pieces. Push a chicken piece into each well.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining bacon and mozzarella over the chicken. Tent the rolls with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 2 - 4 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the start to turn golden.
  5. Sprinkle with grated parmesan before serving.
