There are a couple of recipes that I know will have my guys running to the table. My Cheesy Spinach & Artichoke Chicken Alfredo Braid is definitely one of their favorites.

You know that delicious spinach & artichoke dip that everyone always loves? With my recipe you don’t need any chips to enjoy that great taste. Imagine the flavor you love…only extra creamy with rotisserie chicken and baked into a delicious bread that you can eat as a meal! Yep, now you see why they come running when this is on the table! With the BOGO sale on RAGÚ® at Publix, I decided this was a good time to add it to my menu and I thought you guys might want to do the same.

The BOGO sale includes the 21.5 oz family size jar so I can whip up this recipe and still have some for our pasta dinner later on in the week!

I love the taste and the fact that this is such an incredibly easy meal. I know…it looks like it might be a pain to deal with. But I promise, it’s crazy simple and is fabulous for a quick and delicious weeknight meal.

Coming up with recipes is usually a whole lot of trial and error. Most of the time, I try to reinvent my existing recipes. This particular recipe came about as a way to take something we all love and turn it into a meal. Of course party dips aren’t usually something you can put out in front of your family as a meal so I had to think of some other options.

The dip recipes that I have call for sour cream and/or mayo. I am not a huge fan of either of those items so I put on my thinking cap and started experimenting a bit. We are all big cheese fanatics so I decided to try RAGÚ® Classic Alfredo instead. It was amazing—so then I had to decide how to make it a real meal.

You guys know I love to stuff chicken with all kinds of goodies, so that is where this one started. Now that is a tasty modification and maybe I will share it one day, but it takes a little more effort than I’d like on a hectic weeknight.

So I started coming up with other ideas…

Instead of stuffing the dip into chicken, I thought it might be good WITH chicken. Perhaps used in a tasty a casserole? Possibly the filling of a tart? I decided that it might be good stuffed inside bread. Ding, ding, ding—we have a winner!

Some of my recipe ideas aren’t always received so well but this one was an instant hit! Seriously, can you go wrong with the flavor combo in this one? You don’t need a ton of ingredients or a ton of time which makes this a big winner in my book. A few key items means that you can throw it together then it’s just a matter of tossing it in the oven. I don’t know about you but, I am all about meals that don’t have me in the kitchen all night!
