Incogmeato Brats with Onion Jam

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 large sweet onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 package Incogmeato Bratwurst, grilled according to package instructions
  • Buns
  • brown mustard
  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic and cook over medium heat for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring frequently until onions are softened and translucent.
  3. Add the sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar and cook for 15 - 20 minutes until caramelized and thickened.
  4. Grill the Incogmeato Bratwurst according to package instructions.
  5. Serve the brats in the buns with the onion jam and brown mustard, if desired.
