Who says grilling season has ended? Certainly not Smithfield! With a history dating back 85 years, Smithfield shares the same passion for flavor, quality, and freshness as its customers. They believe the products they make aren’t just about food, they’re about helping family and friends connect and create lifelong memories together.

That’s why Smithfield is proud and excited to be taking part in the first ever Jacksonville BBQ Festival this December. From December 10th to the 12th, TIAA Bank Field will be hosting a selection of award-winning pitmasters from across the country for a grilling event like no other. Over 30,000 pounds of meat will be smoked during this one-of-a-kind event, including plenty of Smithfield fresh pork products!

But what’s a barbecue without some brews and tunes? In addition to all the incredible food that will be available, a variety of musical acts will also be performing on the Crowl Royal Music Stage. Plus, there will be plenty of other awesome experiences, including BBQ demos from the pitmasters themselves and even a Rib Rumble competitive eating event! There are only a few slots available to compete in the Rib Rumble, but one lucky winner will receive (2) VIP Pit Passes to next year’s Jacksonville BBQ Fest, plus an automatic chance to defend their hard-won title at the 2022 Rib Rumble.

Even if you don’t compete, you can’t beat this opportunity to eat with the country’s elite smokers of fine meats, including Smithfield pork products. And the best part? They’re the ones doing all the cooking! That sounds like sweet, savory music to my ears, and I bet I’m not the only one.

So whether you’re traveling from near or far, don’t miss this incredible chance to grab an ice-cold brew and sample some mouth-watering, pure smoked bliss from the pitmasters who do it not because it’s a living, but because it’s a calling. For everything you need to know, be sure to visit Bbqfestjax.com.

AND…I am going to give a lucky reader the opportunity to go for FREE! One winner will get a couple of tickets to the Jacksonville BBQ Festival*.

Entry is simple. You just need to complete the mandatory task below (Answering my question). You can gain additional entries by completing any of the other options as well! View the Giveaway & Sweepstakes Rules.

Leave a comment sharing your favorite way to enjoy Smithfield Pork!

Can’t be at the festival in person? All you need to create your own BBQ fest at home is family, friends, and your favorite Smithfield pork products. Made with no artificial ingredients ever, Smithfield’s pork isn’t simply the finest that money can buy, it’s what great times around the grill are made of. Pick up some during your next Publix run and I think you’ll agree.

*Giveaway is for tickets only. You will have to provide your own transportation to and from the event.

  2. I love the ham diced up and served in an omelet. Or the sausage in sausage gravy, or bacon wrapped around chicken. So many good ways to enjoy it!

  5. I literally have three Smithfield hams in my freezer right now. We love ham sandwiches, and buying lunchmeat is expensive and not nearly as good as a Smithfield ham. We cut it into slices all at once and put it in bags in the fridge. It’s a hit for the whole family. And sometimes I dice it (or buy it pre-diced) and use in omelets or egg “muffins”. Can’t wait for the BBQ festival here in Jax!
