  38. I like to mix cooked crumbled bacon with shredded cheddar cheese(about 8 oz each). I then chop and add 1/2 onion and green bell pepper. Add mayonnaise to mix the ingredients together. Spread this mixture on English muffins. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Broil to finish them up and get them bubbly. Delicious!

  65. I like to cook a whole pound of bacon in the oven, let it cool (after enjoying a slice or two for a snack!), and then freeze it by rolling the slices in plastic wrap. This way, I can easily remove a few slices at a time to use in a recipe calling for cooked bacon, or for breakfast.

    So many awesome recipes I make use bacon.
    One go to, especially delicious fir summer is pasta bacon and shrimp…creamy authentic Alfredo sauce. I add either broccoli or asparagus or sugar snap peas sometimes too.

Although we always like having bacon with homemade waffles for Sunday brunch, I like to add it to my salads, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, regular sandwiches and cheeseburgers, lunch wraps, and casseroles. I also wrap bacon around shrimp with a little brown sugar sprinkled on top and broiled until crispy for a yummy appetizer.

  231. I would make an open faced BLT, bread, mayo, lettuce, tomato and bacon on top…put a slice of your favorite cheese…put it under the broiler and melt the cheese, then add the other slice of bread or toast to the top.

  249. Bacon, what can you not use it with, but here in Florida when our home grown tomatoes are out its BLT for us weekly, love to LOAD them up with BACON and those thick sliced tomatoes. I also love to make fresh salads with fresh bacon on top, Yum. I also use BACON on Grilled cheese. Well enough. Now MAKE MY DAY and make me a BACON WINNER.

  257. I intend frying it up crispy, then BLEND it up so my Husband can eat it. He had all his teeth removed(radiation therapy caused his teeth to start breaking) and blended he can put bacon in his scrambled/fried eggs.

  290. We call it “bacon pasta”…cut a pound into 1” pieces and render that liquid gold! Saute good size pieces of leek with a little minced garlic (ok…a lot of garlic!!) When it’s all yumalicious, stir in a couple ounces of cream cheese, grated parm, and cream until you’ve got a sauce…add cooked pasta…a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and oh mio Dio!!! Bacon elevates everything.

  313. I love to chop up several slices of bacon and fry them with lots of onion. I add the bacon onion mixture to the saucepan when I cook yellow squash, zucchini, okra and tomatoes, ratatouille, green beans, and any kind of dried beans or peas. The added bacon makes the vegetables, beans, and peas even more delicious!
