Today’s Reader Spotlight comes to us from Renee. This is here second time writing in and again she shares that a positive attitude and a some couponing skills can make such a difference. I love her tip about using the library as a resource…take advantage of those FREE resources!!
Take it away, Renee!
My name is Renee. I have written to you once before. I had told you that we had been informed that my husband would be loosing his job and that I had turned to couponing as a way of “preparing a stockpile” for the upcoming unemployment and lower income. Well, that time has come and gone. My husband indeed lost his job in March and has not had any luck finding another. It’s a jungle out there. So, needless to say couponing is EXTREMELY important to us at this point. Not that I would ever go back to paying full price for anything after I have seen for the past several months what I can save with coupons. Just a little prep work and viola! I love it!
At my place of employment, (your friendly local library!) several of my co-worker also are couponers. So keeping that in mind our library hosted several coupon classes complete with instructor. It was very well received and many of the locals attended. Getting the word out and showing more people how much money they can save-COUPONERS 101 .
I am grateful to iheartpublix.com and you Michelle. You and your site are a major resource for me to keep my budget on track. I rely on your site and thank you for your efforts.
Just an FYI for anyone out there that doesn’t have computer access or time for classes on couponing and are not sure how to get started. There are lots of books in your local library on the subject. Check it out!
Thanks again for everything you do. You inspire us all.
I REALLY NEED YOUR STORIES!! If you have a story to share PLEASE SEND IT IN!!
Your post can be about almost anything to do with couponing. You can tell us about a particularly good or bad situation you’ve dealt with as a couponer, about how you got into couponing or how couponing has impacted the rest of your life, you can make a list of things every new couponer should know…just about anything, really! If you think it’s interesting and it has to do with couponing, email me with your idea at contactiheartpublix @ gmail.com.This is one of my favorite features on the site! Be sure and check out all the past Reader Spotlights HERE.
