I have been hanging out with my little one all day. He was out of school for the day and a little bit bummed as today was Jake’s field trip to the Space Center in Huntsville. My husband was brave and decided that he would be a chaperone for the trip. He has been texting me all kinds of funny pictures and comments all day. I don’t think he realized how crazy and chaotic it would be with a bunch of wild nine year olds. They will not be home until around 8:30 tonight and I bet my husband will be ready to pass out once they are finally back – tee hee!
There are only three more days of school next week and one of those days is a half day with a party. So I guess there are really just two days left! I can’t believe how fast this year has flown by!
Our baseball season correlates with the school year so it’s wrapping up soon too. Jeb will continuing tutoring over the summer and we have various activities scheduled but my goal for the summer was to take it easy. Hopefully we have lots of fun and maybe we’ll even get a little rest too!
I didn’t need to do much shopping after my big shop-o-rama last weekend. We actually ate leftovers for the first part of the week. We had a big party last Saturday and then had folks come back again and celebrate more on Sunday. So I made the most of the leftover and got very creative making salads and casseroles with our Mexican and seafood leftovers.
I spent $43.45 at the store this week just stocking up on milk, eggs, fruits, veggies and a few basics. Nothing too exciting.
Since it’s just Jeb and I tonight. He has asked that we do a date night so we are going to head out to Zaxby’s for a little dinner. I have a free kids meal coupon and I just love their Zalads…time for a break! 😉
I hope you guys have had a great week! Share your weekly totals in the comments or link up below!
