I am always looking for new ideas for lunch.  I will admit that unless we have leftovers I usually just go with a sandwich. I am so happy that Amanda showed me how easy it is to change it up a bit.  I think I will do these for lunch today!

This is another one of those things that I have just never thought to try as I just assumed it was too hard.  Once again Amanda has shown me how easy it really can be!!  What is best is that you know exactly what you are eating and you can tailor it to what your family likes.  My perfect granola would have pecans, lots of dried fruits and maybe a little chocolate…everything is better with chocolate–YUM!!

I think I am going to make this one for my guys–I need to broaden their meal options   I HATE mayonnaise…I mean I can’t even stand to look at the stuff!!  My husband on the other hand loves it and eats it on everything!!  Since I cook –I make what I like to eat so there are really no dishes that I make that are mayonnaise based!  It’s funny as I have different versions of typical foods that I make to avoid using mayo!!  My coleslaw is a vinegar based marinade, my potato salad is mustard based and any pasta salad that I make is made with a vinaigrette! 

I really need to expose my boys to more foods as I am not sure if they even like mayonnaise–I have never offered it to them!! I have everything that is needed for Amanda’s recipe so I think I will make this one.  I know my husband will like it!!  Head over and see Amanda’s Macaroni Salad.

The funny thing is that I almost bought peaches yesterday…but my boys insisted on grapes instead!!  The one good thing about being out in the boonies is that there are tons of little produce stands everywhere.  I have three different ones within a few miles of my house!!  I may have to stop and snag some peaches while we are running around this week!!

I have never been a huge coffee fanatic..but my husband drinks enough for both of us   Amanda has a way for you to make your iced coffee for pennies!  So if you are one who spends several dollars per drink at the coffee shop you might want to visit Amanda to see how easy it can be to make your own!!

Once again Amanda has opened my eyes to something I had never thought about attempting but that is so simple!  I love this as you can make as much as you need without waste.
