Amanda over at A Few Short Cuts has our “Snack”urday ready. This week she has Citrus Kissed Fig Thumbprint Cookies.
I really don’t think I need to say much as that picture kinda gives it away–YUM!! I don’t have fig preserves but I may just give them a try with a different flavor. These are so pretty I think I might just make extra and give them away to my dear friend…she would be just tickled!!
These would be beautiful Christmas cookies…use a raspberry preserve with green coarse sugar–very festive. You guys will have to remind me to make them 
“Snack”urday – Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Amanda is out of town this weekend, so she has a guest post from Jennifer at Saving & Giving who has a great “Snack”urday for us this week: Chocolate Chip Cheeseball.
I have to say the image I got when I first heard the name was not so good as I immediately though cheddar cheese…hello- it is made with cream cheese!! Boy did I change my mind when I read the ingredients. It sounds so good that I think I might have to make this one…but I will have to get more powdered sugar as I used my entire stockpile making that cake for my little one last week!!

I have never even considered attempting a tiramisu…I think I have changed my mind!!

Like Amanda, I have a houseful of fruit eaters!! My little one has been averaging almost 6 pounds of apples per week–I am not kidding!! I am really starting to wonder if he has some sort of deficiency or something that is making him crave apples!! If he is not requesting an apple he is asking for a banana!! Peaches and plums are my fruits of choice so Amanda’s recipe is calling my name. It is super simple and only requires three ingredients – puff pastry, plums & sugar!

I have never had a dessert pizza –so this definitely caught my eye! I love making homemade pizza and LOVE the idea of a dessert pizza…Amanda even gives us the recipe for the pizza crust! I think I am going to give this a try. I have a feeling it will go over great with all my guys! I may experiment with a few other toppings and see what creation I can come up with!

Amanda sent me a “Snack”urday treat that I have never heard of and can’t wait to try–Nilla Wafer Cake!! I have to say it looks so delicious and since Amanda always gives us step by step instructions with pictures you know it will be super simple!!
