Well, I was so busy shopping and posting deals on I Heart Saving Money today that I did not have time to remind you guys about Kai’s Restaurant Roundup before we left for the birthday party. Remember to check it out before you go out to eat!
Along with the TWO Fandango movie tickets for $12 from Half Off Depot that I bought, I also got a few very nice certificates with very long expiration dates. I find that if I buy them it makes us actually branch out and go to fun new places! Maybe we will do something fun tomorrow before we run our errands for the weekend.
For my Atlanta folks I noticed a fantastic deal for The Melting Pot over on Half Off depot too ($50 certificate for $18).

We are getting ready to head out for the day. Last week we decided to go out for lunch instead of doing dinner out like we usually do.I am not sure I should admit it…but I have to say I actually kinda liked it. We ran all of our errands grabbed a meal and being home for the late afternoon and evening allowed me to get more accomplished.
So, I am going to give it a try this weekend and see how it works for me. Don’t get me wrong…I really like getting a night out of the kitchen. BUT–I think if I do easy crockpot meals or even make my husband fire up the grill and do the majority of the cooking it might make my life even less stressful.
Another great thing about going out for lunch is that I am spending even less money. Eating out for lunch will save me at least $10 -$15. Lunch is much less expensive than dinner so I may even have a little extra moolah to use on other things that are more fun!!
