My friend Kai over at Smart Couponing has your weekly Restaurant Roundup ready!  There are some great deals this week and even a couple of freebies!!  I have yet to pick my choice for my birthday meal…so I am not quite sure what we will do?! Be sure and visit Kai to see all the great deals.

My mom asked what I wanted for my birthday and my only request was a date night with my husband!!  So I may just go with something typical this weekend and wait to do something out of the ordinary next week as we will get a chance to go out without the kids!!  Can you tell I am already looking forward to it

I want to still save a little money so I am going to check out Restaurant.com as they are at 80% when you use the code: PLATE at checkout.  I will happily pay $2 for a $25 gift certificate…the best part is that I can look outside of our zip code.  Since it will just be me and my husband we can travel a bit and choose a nice restaurant.  I am so ready for a restaurant that does not offer crayons  ;-)

My birthday is next week and I have an inbox full of freebies so I think I may take advantage of a few of them   If you haven’t already…I highly suggest you head over to your favorite restaurants’ websites and join the eClub/mailing list as many will send special offers out for your birthday and sometimes your sign up anniversary! 

I have coupons for free cookies, free ice cream, free appetizers and so much to choose from.  Since my birthday is in the middle of the week I am hoping my husband will want to celebrate either this weekend or next weekend.  He gets home from work late each night…so weekends are a much better option!

Many restaurants are offering specials to celebrate the holiday.  If you are heading out you definitely want to check out the list so you can save some money for your fireworks   We went out to eat earlier this week so I am not sure if we will do another night out but I tell you… I sure wouldn’t mind heading to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch
