You guys know I love FREE eCookbooks right? Well, I love them even more when they contain an original recipe by yours truly –tee hee!
You’re definitely going to want to take a peek at the eCookbook: Tastes from Home by Frito-Lay Fans and be sure and try my recipe for Spicy Shrimp and Grits Bites. I had the best time coming up with a recipe. I actually made this one for my family at a dinner a few months ago and it was a hit!
There are a ton of great recipes…so you might want to browse through and see if any of the others float your boat!

Happy found a FREE eCookbook for us! Check out the 15 Slow Cooker Favorites from Family Circle. There are several that sound fantastic to me. I want to try the Italian Wedding Soup and the Mediterranean Roasted Vegetable and Chicken Chili –both of these sound so good!
Lots of good hearty recipes that you can do in your crock pot (or as I have accidentally said before – my crack pot–tee hee!!)

Laurie over at Passionate Penny Pincher sent over her recipes for the week. I am loving the idea of slow cooked mashed potatoes. I have never thought about popping them in a slow cooker to keep them warm! The potatoes are always a pain as they have to been done last minute…no one wants to eat cold mashed potatoes!
I think I am gong to need multiple crock-pots to use at holidays!

My buddy Kira over at Coupon Chaos Mama had a chance to try out some Hurst Family Harvest Beans and like everyone else…her family loved them.

Jake has his Fall Festival tonight so I threw mine in the crockpot so we can eat right when my husband gets home then head over to the school to have some fun!
